Population Health “Team Work in Primary Care”
To optimise the general practice role in achieving public health outcomes through the promotion of strategic partnerships with patients, funders and other providers. This goal will be achieved by working collaboratively with other health providers, advancing health promotion and responding to, and building capacity in research and development and quality improvement in general practice.

Organisational Capacity “Building on Healthy Practices”
To maximise general practice ability to meet the needs of the communities they serve. This goal will be achieved by responding to workforce issues, particularly in relation to aged residential care, training and networking for GPs and Practice staff, identification of current practice issues and needs. IT/IM, GP health and Hospital/GP communication improvements are also a focus of this sub-committee.
